 Over the last 6 years I had been badly let down by my solicitors and barristers who had collectively failed my divorce case from an abusive husband; followed by painful and long-winded financial settlement.  

Dr John Brown has been the best barrister I have ever had. His deep understanding and vigorous support during the hearing was a feeling of fresh breath for me after being suffocated and bullied in this legal procedure over the last 6 years.

I attended the magistrates court my client the driver was facing no insurance charge - she was 83 years old and had a clean driving record for 60+ years. Her daughter had renewed her insurance but entered 1 wrong digit on the car registration and even so the insurance company took the payments from the clients account. I argued special reasons which the court accepted - Absolute discharge and no costs. 

We instructed John on a Fact Finding Hearing where our client the father had not seen the child for over 1 year. John vigorously cross examined the mother and revealed all the flaws in her case and the judge dismissed every allegation made by the mother. Both our client and our firm would recommend John for any child access fact finding hearing. 

John is a legend - I was facing multiple allegations at a Fact Finding Hearing ("FFH") from my Ex-wife which she had already reported to the police which they took no action over. John fully cross examined her and 95% of her allegations were rejected and the judge also criticized her for how she answered questions. I had been suspended from my work for over 1 year and was facing losing my job if these had all been found against me. Given the minimal findings I am as sure as I can be that I will be back at work soon. I had been considering doing the fact finding myself but John convinced me that would be a stupid thing to do and at the end of the 3 days I clearly saw that I would never have won on my own as she had legal aid and had a barrister.  I thoroughly recommend John and would advise any father NOT TO GO IT ALONE AT A FFH
